The child prop is the base layer; overlays are stacked on top using CSS Grid.
By default only the child sizes the overlay: pass an overlay as { child, measure: true } to count it too (gtk_overlay_set_measure_overlay()). An overlay bigger than the overlay overflows it unless clipOverlay: true clips it.
